Self Driving Cars

How does a driverless car see the road?
This video was about how cars could potentially be driver less.  The car can detect anything in its way and can see thing far away from it.  Normally you couldn't see 100 feet to the side of you but the driver less car can.  It is advanced in many ways.  The program is possibly flaw less.

I wonder how long it would take to make a model of the car?

What is the best way to keep the people in the car safe?

  2. Well I think to make a model of a Car it would take a couple of years. Because the coding and just normal shape would be hard. Yeah so a couple of years is probably right. Then they could release it a couple years later after test driving.

They could add air bags if necessary but if someones in the back they would need something better. They would need some kind of cushion so people wouldn't get hurt. I think in a couple years they will find a better way to keep people safe, once the car is more functional.

  3. For one, air bags. There will be plenty of space after taking out the no longer needed things such as the wheel and such. Second off, make the car in such a way, and out of the proper materials that in the event of a crash, the people inside are as safe as possible.
