of Your Life
My first choice for a career is to be an elementary
school teacher for fifth graders in Andover, Kansas for about 10 years and then
become and educational administrator (second choice). This job requires 4 years of college and I would
go to Tennessee
State University and that would cost 132,000 dollars so I would graduate at
22 years old and be around 32 when I become and educational administrator. I would like to teach because teaching is the
most important job in the world. If
there were no teachers, there would be no other jobs. Society would crash without teachers. If I do become a teacher, I won’t give out a
ton of homework or reading but I would give it out every other day or so. I feel that teachers aren’t appreciated
enough and that they aren’t paid enough.
Fifty thousand dollars a year doesn’t cut it for teaching the next
generation how to make the world a better place. Hopefully that will change in the future but
pursuing this job would make me a better person because it teaches me patience, perseverance, and
responsibility.
After I am a teacher, I would like to become an
educational administrator because it pays much better than a teacher right now
and hopefully in the future. This job
also requires 4 years of college but I would have already graduated with my
bachelor’s degree. I would like this job
because I would just walk into class rooms and observe students and compare
them to how I was in school. I would
also tell the teachers what they are doing wrong with the class and what they are
doing well. I would help teachers figure
out plans to let the students have fun but still learn and get good
results. I would first be the assistant
principle then work my way up to being the superintendent. I would probably have this job for 13-17 years
and if I have it for more, I will enjoy it.
